Este es el trabajo que finaliza la serie de creaciones inspiradas en la pandémia.
Como muchxs sabéis, comenzamos nuestro proyecto de clases online con dos técnicas, una de mixed media y otra de arcilla polimérica, ambas con el mismo motivo del hogar: `Casitas´.
Y es que la pandémia nos ha hecho reflexionar a todxs, Fabi incluida, acerca de la importancia del hogar, la familia y el tiempo que invertimos a lo largo de nuestras vidas en todas esas actividades que llevamos a cabo en su interior.
Aunque para Fabi la casa y el trabajo siempre han estado estrechamente unidos, con la pandémia se hizo aún más evidente esta relación, y no solo eso, sino que además se abrieron las puertas de un nuevo mundo por medio de la tecnología, creando una realidad donde compartir y convivir también artísticamente.
Internet ha sido el gran salvoconducto de todxs. Ha permitido que permaneciéramos informados, seguros y conectados sin salir de casa. Por ello hemos decidido apostar por un nuevo modelo de enseñanza virtual que sin duda ha venido para quedarse y que nos permitirá compartir la experiencia del mundo creativo de Fabi con cualquier persona que no tenga la capacidad de viajar o que por otros motivos tenga difícil la asistencia a los cursos y eventos que se celebren en distintos países.
Sin embargo, hay que reconocer que este mismo mundo virtual también ha demostrado tener sus limitaciones. Y en el caso particular de Fabi aquellxs que la conocéis sabéis que es una persona muy cariñosa y cercana que siente y se comunica con su presencia por lo que la experiencia de aprender con ella realmente se disfruta y percibe completa en los cursos y eventos en vivo.
Además, es de manera presencial como mejor podéis ver a Fabi trabajar y resolver dudas directamente, ya que muchas veces su ayuda es capaz de mostrarnos de una manera más fácil y demostrativa los errores y aciertos que cometemos, así como los pequeños trucos . Y todo esto sin contar con las kits de material y las sorpresitas que hacen del curso una experiencia completa e inolvidable junto a la alegría, dedicación y presencia de todas las personas que asisten.
¡Es ese ambiente el que echamos de menos y que vamos a recuperar muy pronto! A la vuelta de verano retomaremos los cursos presenciales comenzando por nuestro querido país vecino, la maravillosa Francia ♥
Respecto a la obra creativa de hoy, contaros que en esencia refleja todo lo arriba mencionado, la convivencia entre el hogar y el trabajo, casas tradicionales frente a grandes chimeneas representativas de las viejas fábricas. La relación entre el progreso, la tecnología, y lo más tradicional, la esencia artesanal de lo `hecho en casa´(home made); y la comunicación entre ambas, por un lado la base esencial del hogar sin el cual el trabajo, la tecnología y el progreso, no tendrían en que apoyarse para avanzar.

—TRADITION AND PROGRESS—
This is the artwork that concludes the series of creations inspired by the pandemic.
As many of you know, we started our online class project with two techniques, one of mixed media and another of polymer clay, both with the same motif of the Home: ‘Little houses´.
The pandemic has made us all, Fabi included, reflect on the importance of home, family and the time we spend throughout our lives in all those activities we carry out within them.
Although for Fabi home and work have always been closely linked, with the pandemic this relationship became even more evident, and not only that, but also the doors of a new world were opened through technology, creating a reality where to share and live together also artistically.
The Internet has been the great safe conduct of all. It has allowed us to stay informed, safe and connected without leaving home. That is why we have decided to invest our time on a new model of virtual teaching that is undoubtedly here to stay and that will allow us to share the experience of Fabi's creative world with anyone who does not have the opportunity to travel or who for other reasons has difficulty attending the courses and events held in different countries.
However, it must be acknowledged that this same virtual world has also proven to have its limitations. And in the particular case of Fabi those who know her you know that she is a very joyful and close person who feels and communicates with her presence so the experience of learning with her is really enjoyed and perceived complete in the courses and live events.
In addition, it is in face to face how you can best see Fabi work and solve doubts directly, since many times her help is able to show us in an easier and more demonstrative way the mistakes and successes we commit, as well as the small tricks. And all this without counting the material kits and the `little surprises´ that make the course a complete and unforgettable experience together with the joy, dedication and presence of all the people who attend.
It is that atmosphere that we miss and that we will have back very soon! After summer we will attend the first face-to-face courses in our beloved neighboring country, the wonderful France♥
Regarding today's creative work, tell you that in essence it reflects everything mentioned above. The coexistence between home and work, traditional houses in front of large fireplaces representative of the old factories. The relationship between progress, technology, and the more traditional, the artisanal essence of the 'home made'; and communication between the two, on the one hand the essential basis of the home without which work, technology and progress would not have to rely on to advance.
