Hoy quería compartir con vosotr@s algunas fotos de mi nuevo taller. Está prácticamente acabado, quedan algunos detalles en cuanto a decoración pero por lo demás, ¡está listo para funcionar!😊
Este taller me gusta especialmente por tres cosas:
1 Luminoso. Gracias a la orientación del apartamento, la luz natural que viene del exterior nos acompaña prácticamente todo el día, sobre todo en invierno, cuando el sol está más bajo y se apodera de todo el interior. Además contamos con luces artificiales auto regulables que crean dos tipos de ambientes, uno más acogedor y otro más funcional.
2. Espacioso. Nuestra intención era crear un único espacio multifuncional en el que ante todo prevaleciera la influencia artística, la trayectoria profesional de Fabi y su obra creativa. Por ello, hemos fusionado tres ambientes distintos buscando integrarlos armónicamente en un conjunto orientado a disfrutar de la experiencia creativa. De hecho, podríamos catalogar este nuevo taller como una sala de exposición permanente de los trabajos más originales y destacados de Fabi desde practicamente sus comienzos.
3.¡En casa! Un sueño cumplido…Aunque es cierto que trabajar en casa tiene sus desventajas, es algo que desde mi punto de vista compensa positivamente en un mayor grado ya que el cansancio acumulado de los viajes sumado al tiempo que se pierde en el desplazamiento acaban siendo factores que influyen de manera notable en la capacidad de trabajo y descanso. Además, ya no soy una chiquilla😄 ¡Y mi intención es seguir en esto muchos años!
Además considero que existen otras tres que favorecen la experiencia de aprendizaje y creación artística:
-Disposición de las mesas de trabajo. Todas las mesas forman una única superficie de trabajo compartida donde los alumnos pueden verse las caras, favoreciendo así la comunicación y el trabajo colaborativo sin perder el espacio individual. Las mesas poseen capacidad suficiente para que ocho personas trabajen de forma cómoda en ellas.
-Acogedor espacio común (lounge place). Como mencionábamos más arriba, existen tres ambientes diferentes que crean un solo espacio muy hogareño y acogedor que te hace sentir en tu propia casa. Somos conscientes que durante el proceso creativo se producen breves momentos de saturación o colapso en los que es mejor para y desconcectar durante un tiempo. ¿Qué mejor forma que tomándote un té o café y un dulce bizcocho?
-Inspiración al alcance de la mano. Todas las paredes del taller esconden algún tesoro. Técnica mixta, arcilla polimérica, scrap, decoupage…Practicamente la totalidad de la obra artística de Fabi se encuentra expuesta en el taller, sirviendo fácilmente de inspiración para multitud de ideas.
A todo ello habría que sumarle una de las cosas más importantes, ese ambiente de grupo tan especial que sin duda favorece la relajación, inspiración y creación artística.
Este espacio se encuentra especialmente destinado para la enseñanza. Aparte Fabi se reserva una habitación propia (el único muro que separa el espacio de las clases). Este particular `laboratorio´ donde experimenta con materiales y técnicas es también una fábrica de ideas para futuras clases y cursos.
Espero que os haya gustado este nuevo proyecto en el que hemos puesto mucha ilusión y que nos gustaria compartir muy pronto.

Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to share with you some photos of my new atelier. It is almost finished, there are some details in terms of decoration but… It´s ready!😊
I especially like this atelier because of:
1 Is luminous. Thanks to the orientation of the apartment the natural light that comes from the outside accompanies us practically all day, especially in winter, when the sun is lower and takes over the whole interior. In addition we have self adjustable artifical lights that create two types of environments, one more welcoming and another more functional.
2. Is spacious. Our intention was to create a single multifunctional space in which the artistic influence and professional career of Fabi and his creative work prevailed. For this reason, we have merged three different environments seeking to integrate them harmoniously in a set oriented to enjoy the creative experience. In fact, we could classify this new workshop as a permanent exhibition room of Fabi’s most original and outstanding works from practically his beginnings.
3.And is at home! A dream come true… Although it is true that working at home has its disadvantages, is something that in our view compensates more positively since the accumulated fatigue of the trips combined with the time lost in the displacement end up being factors that have a noticeable influence on the ability to work and rest. Also, Fabi is no longer a child 😁 And she intends to continue in this for many years!
In addition, I consider that there are three others things that promote the experience of learning and artistic creation:
-Arrangement of work tables. All the tables form a single shared work surface where students can see their faces, thus favouring communication and collaborative work without losing the individual space. The tables have enough capacity for eight people to work comfortably.
-Cozy lounge space. As mentioned above, there are three different environments that create a very homey and welcoming space that makes you feel at home. We are aware that during the creative process there occur brief moments of saturation in which the best is to deconcentrate for a while. What better way than having tea or coffee and a sweet biscuit?
-Inspiration at hand. All the walls of the workshop hide some treasure. Mixed media, polymer clay, scrap, decoupage… Practically all of Fabi’s artistic work is exhibited in the atelier, easily serving as inspiration for a multitude of ideas.
To all this should be added one of the most important things, that special group atmosphere that undoubtedly favours relaxation, inspiration and artistic creation.
This space is specially create for teaching. Apart Fabi reserves a room of his own (the only wall that separates the space from the classes). This particular laboratory where she experiments with materials and techniques is also a factory of ideas for future classes and courses.
I hope you liked this new project in which we have put a lot of enthusiasm and that we would like to share very soon.
