A few weeks ago, I had some very special visitors at the studio 🤗
A small and lovely group came to discover Little Houses: Vanessa, my daughter, Andrea, her partner, and their friends Alba and Javier.
For three of them, it was their very first time working with polymer clay.
Alba, a kindergarten teacher, and Javier, a museum conservator, arrived curious… and left surprised by everything that can emerge from such a simple material when it becomes a space to experiment, observe, and create.
Andrea also stepped into this little universe for the first time and truly enjoyed the process (take a look at those tiny houses with heart-shaped windows 😍).
Perhaps the most beautiful part wasn’t only the final pieces.
It was seeing how each person took the technique somewhere different and how, in just a few hours, small stories, atmospheres, and little worlds began to appear.
And it made me so happy to hear that some of them are already thinking about coming back ✨
Congratulations to all four of them for these beautiful little houses, each one full of personality 👏🏼👏🏼

Hace unas semanas tuve visita en mi estudio 🤗
Un pequeño grupo muy especial vino a descubrir Little Houses: Vanessa, mi hija, Andrea, su pareja, y sus amigos Alba y Javier.
Para tres de ellos era la primera vez trabajando con arcilla polimérica.
Alba, profesora de infantil, y Javier, restaurador de museo, llegaron con curiosidad… y terminaron sorprendidos por todo lo que puede surgir de un material tan sencillo cuando se convierte en un espacio para experimentar, observar y crear.
Andrea también se estrenó en este pequeño universo y disfrutó muchísimo del proceso (echad un vistazo a esas pequeñas casas con ventanas en forma de corazón 😍).
Lo más bonito quizá no fueron solo las piezas.
Fue ver cómo cada persona llevó la técnica hacia lugares distintos y cómo, en unas pocas horas, aparecieron pequeñas historias, atmósferas y mundos propios.
Me hizo mucha ilusión escuchar que ya están pensando en repetir 😁
