INSPIRACIÓN
Con la inspiración del detalle en el paisaje del mundo vegetal junto a la subjetividad onírica del color en Paul Klee, estos cuadros collage de arcilla polimérica nacen de la intención de crear un cuadro vivo, capaz de conquistar los sentidos de la vista y el tacto a través de su elaboración con trazos estáticos y aislados que sin embargo se comunican entre sí a través del color—colores vivos, fuertes—, de la luz que viaja a través de esa oscuridad, de ese silencio que ensalza el poder del conjunto.
OBRA
Últimamente hemos publicado varios `cuadernos de campo´ o cuadernos de trabajo, de Fabi. Recetarios en los que podemos encontrar bocetos muy elaborados con extractos de ideas listas para ser aplicadas.
Estos cuadernos constituyen el origen del proceso creativo en Fabi, son fuente de inspiración y sirven de plataforma base sobre la que comenzar un proyecto nuevo.
En esta ocasión lo que inicialmente iba a ser una técnica más de mixed media ha terminado convirtiéndose en una obra de arcilla polimérica de dificultad elevada—especialmente debido a la combinación de colores—cuya estética engaña poderosamente al espectador haciéndole creer que se encuentra ante un cuadro pintado.
La sorpresa va más allá incluso de lo meramente visual y se mezcla con el sentido del tacto, abriendo otro canal de comunicación que interpela y transmite al espectador la esencia de esta obra: el color, la luz, la naturaleza, esa realidad que es al mismo tiempo impresión y expresión de uno mismo.

INSPIRATION
With the inspiration of detail in the landscape of the vegetable world together with the oneiric subjectivity of color in Paul Klee, these collage pictures of polymeric clay are born from the intention of creating a living picture, capable of conquering the senses of sight and touch through its elaboration with static and isolated strokes that however communicate with each other through the color-vivid and strong colors-, of the light that travels through that darkness, of that silence that exalts the power of the whole artwork.
ARTWORK
Lately we have published several `field notebooks´ or workbooks, by Fabi. Recipes in which we can find very elaborate sketches with extracts of ideas ready to be applied.
These notebooks are the origin of the creative process in Fabi, are a source of inspiration and serve as a base platform on which to start a new project.
On this occasion what was initially going to be another mixed media technique has ended up becoming a work of polymer clay of high difficulty-especially due to the combination of colors-whose aesthetics powerfully deceives the viewer into believing that it is in front of a painting.
The surprise goes beyond even the merely visual and mixes with the sense of touch, opening another channel of communication that challenges and transmits to the viewer the essence of this work: color, light, nature. That reality which is at the same time impression and expression of oneself.
